Local play and optional activity

The watch stores your local name and random hero identity, gear, battle history, progression, preferences, and activity baselines in its private app storage. No account or network is required for the main game. Apple Watch optionally reads steps through Core Motion; Wear OS optionally uses Health Services daily steps with activity-recognition permission. We do not use HealthKit, location, heart rate, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or a third-party analytics SDK.

Step measurements, timestamps, sensor baselines and permission state remain on your watch. New eligible movement can add game Training XP and fictional RPG stat points. Camp practice provides the same training budget without sensors. You can turn activity off in Training and manage permission in watch settings.

What public sharing sends

Sharing is off by default and requires an explicit choice in Leaderboards. The preview lists these fields: archetype, ruleset, hero level and total Hero XP, four RPG stats, three game skill counters, approved equipment IDs, boss achievements, and boss/expedition counters. These game totals can reflect optional movement-based training as well as manual play. They describe a fictional character and are not an assessment of real-world health or fitness.

The service creates a separate random public character ID and generated alias. It publishes those, the selected game snapshot, derived game power and ranks, and a coarse freshness label (Today, This week, or Earlier). It never receives your local hero name or UUID, raw steps or other health/motion samples, sensor permission state, precise location or routes, or a device advertising identifier.

Publishing credential and service storage

Your watch creates a random publishing credential, stored in Apple Keychain or encrypted with Android Keystore. It authenticates updates and deletion over HTTPS. The service stores a SHA-256 digest of it, never the credential itself, alongside the public profile, an update revision, and service timestamps. Cloudflare Workers and D1 host the website and service. Cloudflare processes network information such as an IP address to deliver and protect requests. We use short-lived hashed request buckets for abuse limits, without recording request credentials or private payloads in application logs.

Stop sharing and deletion

Stop sharing immediately disables uploads and requests server deletion. If offline, the app shows Removal pending — connect to finish and retries deletion before allowing a new publish. Confirmed deletion removes your public alias and game snapshot from active service storage and revokes the old credential. A minimal credential digest and revocation flag remain to prevent delayed requests from recreating a deleted profile. Cloudflare recovery backups may retain deleted records for their limited provider retention period. Copies already viewed or cached by other people may remain outside our control.

Deleting a public profile leaves your local hero unchanged. Uninstalling the app can remove its local save. For a lost-credential removal request, contact support with the public character ID; we must verify ownership before removing another person's profile.

Public data, retention, and purpose

Anyone can view published profiles on the website or in the app. Active profiles remain until deleted. Game data is used only to provide profiles, character comparison and casual leaderboards. Rankings are self-reported, have no prizes, and are not authoritative anti-cheat certification. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, track you across other companies' apps, or send marketing notifications.

Website and support

The website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Support email contains whatever you choose to send and is used to resolve your request. Keep private measurements and credentials out of support messages. Providers may process data in countries other than your own. This game is intended for a general audience; public sharing is optional. If you believe a child's data was published improperly, contact support.

Changes and requests

We will update this page if the shipped app's data practices change. You can request information or deletion through the in-app controls or the support mailbox. Your applicable legal rights depend on your location.
